Rebecca Fuerst, Director of Policy and Research
Rebecca Fuerst is director of policy and research at Insight Education Group. She is primarily responsible for overseeing Insight's research projects and the organization's engagement in the national policy landscape.
Rebecca first developed a passion for education when she served as a City Year corps member at an elementary school in Boston. Since then, she has worked for non-profits such as Let’s Get Ready (Boston) and City Year (Los Angeles). Rebecca has also had the opportunity to conduct research and develop content for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as well as the Center for Collaborative Education.

She is passionate about advancing educational equity for minority and low-income students and hopes to contribute to this work through the translation of high-quality research into policy and action that makes a difference for students and their schools.
Rebecca has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, and a master’s degree in education policy & management from Harvard University.
