Dr. Roderick D. Ford, Senior Manager, Culture and Climate

Roderick Ford is the Senior Manager, Culture and Climate at Insight Education Group. He interacts regularly with senior stakeholders and executives to understand their goals and objectives for various events and takes an initiative-taking approach to planning and executing current and future events.

Prior to joining Insight, Roderick worked for Atlanta Public Schools for six years within the federal programs department. At Atlanta Public Schools, Roderick provided leadership, direction, and guidance for the following federal programs: Title I, School Improvement Grant 1003 (a), Digital Learning Grant, CARES Act Grant, Family Engagement, Neglected & Delinquent, and various special grants. He oversaw departmental and grant budgets totaling $341MM. He started his career in education at the Georgia Department of Education where he helped manage the $400 million Race to the Top grant for the state of Georgia. After the RT3 grant ended, he transitioned to the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement (GOSA). At GOSA, Roderick was fiscally responsible for departmental budgets and grant allocations.

Roderick believes that he MUST help enhance educational opportunities for all students. He focuses on reducing educational disadvantages for students with disabilities (SWDs) and eradicating discriminatory practices by institutions for SWDs to enjoy full and equal access to the benefits of society.

Roderick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Georgia State University), a Master of Business Administration (University of Georgia), and a PhD in Educational Leadership (Mercer University).
