Victoria Privott, Senior Associate

Victoria Privott serves as a senior associate at Insight.  In her role, she focuses on strategic consulting, planning and strategy design, coaching for teachers and leaders, training for all levels of educators, program development, and resource development. She shares deep instructional knowledge and expertise to utilize effective facilitation and coaching skills when working with administrators, teachers, and coaches to drive their practice forward. 

Victoria has spent her twenty-two years in public education as a lead teacher, assistant principal and principal by serving and supporting teachers and school leaders in school turnaround and transformation. Prior to joining Insight Education Group, Victoria most recently worked for Wake County Public Schools in NC where she served as principal and chair of the districts leadership development committee for the Wake County Division of Principals and Assistant Principals. In her time there, she also created the district’s first Women of Color Network for principals and assistant principals, led hundreds of educators and students to increase student achievement and developed effective instructional coaching programs. Additionally, she worked closely with the district’s student support services and equity teams to develop goals for her staff’s professional development and growth in social-emotional learning and culturally responsive teaching. She has worked in similar school leadership roles in Washington, DC and Abu Dhabi. Victoria strongly believes that education is social justice in action and when students are provided an equitable access to high quality instruction it is their pathway to personally and academically reach their fullest potential.

In her spare time, Victoria enjoys spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoys live music events, traveling, and gardening.
