Nakia Magazine serves as a business development analyst at Insight. She has more than fifteen years of nonprofit fundraising experience in capturing support from corporate sponsors, grant funders, and individual donors. At the core of her success is a solid technical writing portfolio consisting of market research reports across various industries. She also has a background in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) which supports projects that deliver equitable opportunities to underserved communities and marginalized populations.
Nakia earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Virginia University and an Executive MBA from the Kenan Flagler School of Business at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Outside of work, Nakia is a talented singer and musician. She plays with a reggae band and enjoys vacations in the Caribbean.
