Insight Education Group Announces Leadership Transition

Education leaders Jason Culbertson, Anissa Rodriguez Dickerman, and Andrea Thomas-Reynolds take on new roles as the executive leadership team

(ENCINO, CA) May 1, 2019 – Insight Education Group, an international educational consulting organization founded in 2000 by Dr. Michael Moody and Jason Stricker, announced a new executive leadership team on May 1. Insight is dedicated to improving the lives of students in the United States and abroad, and has impacted over 250,000 educators and 4,000,000 students across more than 20 states and three countries over the last 20 years.

Jason Culbertson, who has served as the president of Insight for three years, will become the chief executive officer and will be responsible for the organizational vision, business development, and the quality of services provided. Jason began his career as a middle school teacher and instructional coach in rural South Carolina. He spent four years with the South Carolina Department of Education working closely with over 50 of the state’s lowest performing schools to increase student achievement. Prior to joining the team at Insight, Jason spent six years with a national non-profit focused on educator effectiveness.

“We are excited to step into the next phase of Insight’s evolution and are confident that Jason is the right person to help the organization grow its impact. Insight has continued to benefit from his unwavering commitment to ensuring a high-quality education for all students, and we look forward to watching our organization continue to grow in its support of education organizations moving the needle on student achievement,” said Michael Moody, co-founder of Insight.

Dr. Anissa Rodriguez Dickerman will be Insight’s chief strategy officer, focusing on the long-term growth of the organization. Anissa began her 19-year career in education as an elementary teacher, teacher leader, school administrator, and instructional coach in Texas. Before joining Insight, Anissa worked with a national non-profit on national- and state-level educator effectiveness initiatives for eight years.

Dr. Andrea Thomas-Reynolds will move into the role of senior vice president and will provide oversight and direction to Insight’s service delivery efforts. For over 22 years, Andrea has worked in various leadership roles in the educational management industry, including as a regional general manager, chief executive officer, and executive coach. Prior to joining Insight, Andrea served as the founder of an educational consulting firm that provided coaching and transitional leadership support to charter schools and educational service providers.

“Anissa and Andrea are two of the most talented educators in the field. Their deep understanding of school improvement and the needs of practitioners, combined with their own proven track record of leadership and team management, will be invaluable to the expansion of Insight’s impact in the field. Their contributions as members of Insight’s executive leadership team will enhance our ability to grow our impact across the country and internationally,” said Jason Stricker, co-founder of Insight.

As founders, Moody and Stricker will remain active by continuing speaking engagements and thought leadership. Insight will continue to support more partners at the school, district, state, and national levels in America and abroad. “We have been honored and humbled to partner with so many dedicated educators over the last 20 years. We look forward to continuing our own learning and contributing to the ongoing dialogue of school improvement with an emphasis on equity to ensure positive change in the lives of young people worldwide,” said Moody.
