Yozmin Draper, Project Coach
Yozmin Draper is a project coach partnering with the participating Empowering Educators to Excel (E3) school districts to provide targeted support for educator effectiveness, leadership initiatives, and student learning.
Prior to joining Insight, Yozmin was the Executive Director of Flight 22 Foundation where she led the creation and implementation of equitable programming for middle and high school students and their communities in Baltimore City Schools and surrounding areas. Yozmin has served as an Elementary School Principal, as well as, a School Support Network Lead where she provided systematic supports for a network of schools in Baltimore City leveraging school instructional leadership for improvement. Yozmin began her career in education as a first-grade teacher. She additionally taught third and fourth grades and spent time as an instructional coach.
One of Yozmin's passions is instructional leadership strategy. Teachers and School Leaders must have opportunities for continuous learning focused on student growth and achievement.
Yozmin received her undergraduate degree from Stevenson University in Maryland and a master’s degree in Education from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Yozmin is currently pursuing an Ed.D with Vanderbilt University Peabody in Leadership and Learning in Organizations.
