Sidrah Baloch, Data Manager
Sidrah Baloch is a data manager at Insight Education Group, supporting Insight's Project IGNITE (Innovation Generated by Networked Improvement Teams of Educators) program funded through the US Department of Education's Teacher and School Leader (TSL) grant. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring that each IGNITE partner district has an effective system for collecting, analyzing, and leveraging data to increase educator effectiveness and improve student outcomes.
Prior to joining Insight, Sidrah worked as a research manager at the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University, where she supported school, district, and state agency leaders in generating evidence of effective strategies to enhance teaching and learning. Her projects included the National Center for Rural Education Research Networks and the Tennessee Department of Education's Statewide Longitudinal Data Systems grant, as well as Proving Ground, a network of school districts focused on continuous improvement. Her research areas at CEPR included chronic absenteeism, postsecondary readiness, career and technical education, blended learning, and access to advanced courses.
Sidrah is committed to making data accessible and actionable for educators and believes that effective data use plays an important role in transforming the education system and creating equitable access to opportunities for all students.
Sidrah has a master's degree in Urban Education Policy from Brown University and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Wellesley College.
