Melissa Reynolds, Manager of Strategic Partnerships
Melissa Reynolds is the manager of strategic partnerships at Insight Education Group. She is responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for building relationships with new state, district, and school partners.
Melissa began her career as a pre-K teacher with Teach For America in Atlanta, GA and developed a passion for educational equity. Since then, she has worked for non-profits such as the Thomas B. Fordham Institute, Education Pioneers, and TNTP. She also had the opportunity to serve as an Urban Leaders Fellow with the Board of Education and Superintendent of Atlanta Public Schools, providing research and guidance on critical policy issues. Most recently, Melissa led family and community engagement for a district-charter partnership school in southwest Atlanta.
Throughout her career, Melissa has developed a strong belief that great teachers and schools have the power to change lives. Because of this, one of her core beliefs is that all children deserve access to a high-quality education regardless of zip code or background.
Melissa has a bachelor’s degree in history and earth and ocean science from Duke University and a master’s degree in public policy from Vanderbilt University.
