For us, it's about the kids - their interests come first. It's why our motto is maximizing teacher potential to do amazing things with kids. Founders Michael Moody and Jason Stricker joined forces and built a team that does what it takes to ensure that all children get the education they deserve.

 

We Get Teachers Because We Are Teachers

It's true. Every staff member at Insight has K-12 teaching experience, so we understand that it's the teacher who has the biggest impact on students' lives. This experience gives us true insight into the issues and challenges teachers face.

 

Here's What We Know for Sure

Our years of experience have guided us in many areas - one of the most important being what not to do. We don't believe there's one formula for all educators, and we haven't created universal "fix-it" tools. We offer an improvement process, not an improvement model. What we know for sure is that the perfect plan for one school isn't the perfect plan for another. It's what makes our work and the way we do it different - and it's why clients keep bringing us back.

 

We Think Hard About What Will Make Sense

We create systems around people, which is why we invest substantial resources into tailoring our services to each of our partner's needs. Like the students we serve, teachers, schools and districts have specific needs that differ vastly, and our job is to accommodate for these differences. Just as we encourage others to build and strengthen their learning communities from within, we too work hard to strengthen our own internal processes and programs so that we can better serve our clients. By sustaining our own learning community with structured time to read, collaborate and reflect, we are able to examine and model what works rather than simply talk about it.

 

A Different Question: What's Right About Education?

So much! For so long, we've heard about the all-too familiar pitfalls and problems in public schools. Insight is here to share the good, the great and the incredible. This is how we approach our work. We are always excited to enter a roomful of teachers and administrators, with one of our first calls of duty being to build upon their strengths. Together, we assess the situation, and come up with creative, innovative ideas that can be put into immediate action and achieve positive results.
