Melinda Baiza, Specialist
Melinda Baiza is a specialist with Insight Education Group. In this role, she partners with clients to provide targeted support on leadership development, school improvement, and strategic planning.
Melinda is an experienced education leader having previously served as an assistant superintendent for a large urban school district as well as a district-level director of curriculum, instruction and assessment. She also has extensive building-level experience as a principal, assistant principal, reading specialist, and classroom teacher.
She has also served as a national consultant for the University of Virginia's Partnership for Leaders Turnaround Program and an executive leadership coach for the partnership between Woodrow Wilson and University of Indianapolis MBA program.
She is deeply committed to transformation and dedicates her efforts on building systems and processes as well as identifying turnaround leaders to change and transform schools.
She is a graduate of Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas where she received her bachelor's degree in science. Melinda attained her master’s degree in educational administration at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
